We are proud to announce the launch of our brand-new company, Last Post Miniatures, specialists in 1/30 scale bases and diorama accessories. Based in Sydney, Australia, Last Post provides unique items for the discerning toy soldier collector and modeller.

Our products are available painted and ready to use. First releases include stunning square display bases in three sizes and in three different finishes- summer, winter and desert- all mounted on beautiful stained wooden plinths to really show off your models.

Last Post Miniatures only uses the finest grade materials to construct their hand-made and painted pieces, ensuring you will receive absolute top quality bases and diorama accessories. We already have a large range of other items in production and aim to add new accessories to our catalogue on a regular base.

Large Base (Summer) AU$140 – Calm Before the Storm

Large Base (Winter) AU$140 - Panzer IV on the Eastern Front

NEW: Scenic Diorama Bases

Our largest size (250mm and a footprint of 275mm) is suitable for heavy vehicles such as a Tiger or Panther tank or large battle scenes.

For midsized vehicles like the T-34 or Sdkfz 251 or smaller displays of miniature figures (perhaps a mounted patrol of Australian Light Horse or Mongol Cavalry) we have a medium base (175mm and a footprint of 200mm).

Medium Base (Summer) AU$110 - Vive L'Empereur!

Our smallest base (125mm and a footprint of 150mm) is aimed at displaying a handful of miniatures or a Jeep or Kubelwagen sized small vehicle.

Small Base (Desert) AU$80 - Who Dares Wins

Large Base (Desert) AU$140 - Back to Work!

Note: Of course, no figures are included with our bases. We are using King & Country miniatures in our product images with kind permission from Andy Neilson.
